Summer Time June Adventures

Dominic will be entering Kindergarten this Fall 2018.  We were able to attend a walk through of the school and Dominic really was getting excited.  We went at the end of the day, after being at Nanas. BUT before we wen.t We ended up getting ice cream from Macs Apples because Dominic was asking for so long and it was our 1st time as a family for the season.

When we drove up and park.  Dom wasted no time running up to the school and posing for pictures.  As you entered they encouraged you  to walk into all the classrooms and see the layout of the school. The 1st thing that Dominic noticed right away was the legos.  They also had a reading area, crafts, puzzles and games.  Each room also displayed a calendar, numbers and alphabet that he has in his current class which he enjoys.  Especially the calendar displaying the months and what to expect during that season.  Dominic was excited to tell his friends at his current school. All about where he would be going next year.

Later that month we did a road trip to Portsmouth to visit the McCools which included baby Charlie.  Many times when we go on road trips . Madeline. asks if were seeing either baby Charlie, Addy or Brynn.  Its so cute.  We got to the McCools and played for a while and then had lunch.  Charlie has awesome toys and a rocket ship tent.  The kids loved running in and out as mommy shoock it saying '5-4-3-2-1  BLAST OFF". You heard giggles and 'again again again mommy'.

 
After lunch we went to the Portsmouth Aquarium and its was a lot of fun.  Many hands on activities and dress up.  We first went over to touch star fish and watch the fish and hermit crabs.  Madeline and Dominic loved touching the sea creatures but you would hear a no once in awhile from Dom.  Since his sister would never say 'no'.  Hes always is reluctant to retract his 'no' to a 'yes' because of her.

Then we went over to the play area where you dress up as a fisherman in the gear.  Charlie and Madeline were all about this and fishing.  We would throw the fake fish on the ground for them to try to catch. It was hard but they caught a few.  After about 30 mins we finally got them to move onto the last room. This is where they had marine biologist.  The cherry on top on our road trips is the hotel.  The kids love to sleep over, swim if we can and eat.  They did pretty good and we made some memories.

The end of June the weather was starting to get really HOT.  Madeline & Dominic have been doing a lot of crafts at school and painting.  Their work is so neat I wanted to see them in action, and see if they wanted to make art for Grandma.  Grandma has been going to the Sr. center for several months and has been partaking in many activities.  One is painting.  She has been getting pretty good and painting pieces for the kids.

Madeline enjoyed painting and I noticed that as I held the paper for her she tended to paint better and stay in the lines.  Domincs skills have been getting so much better. From staying in the lines to using more colors. For the most part his color choices match to the color of what certain things are but then there will be something creative here and there.

On Sundays Daddy and Aunt Stacey have been playing soccer and mommy watches all the kids.  They have a blast but this was one of my Fav pics of them.  Madeline totally rough houses with them all the time but she was DONE this time. Then after soccer we head over to Nana and  Bampas for cook out.  We went to get desert, saw Bri Guy then went over. We had our 1st SMORES of the season and YUM YUM! And yes Madeline is painting Bampas toes  :-)

 Mommy has also been working on Madelines blanket late night..
