Beach Trip ( played hooky) & 4th of July Fun

I personally look forward to taking my kids to the beach every year.  We have so much fun with playing in the sand, waves and looking for sea creatures, finding shells and much more.  We will be going again next week and cannot wait!! This adventure was quite fun, but last year we saw a lot more crabs and many jelly fish.  This time when we got there. We set up and then took flight on our adventure.  First thing was we saw parts of a crab. Madeline wanted to touch it and Dominic was content just looking. 

Then we embarked into the water.  It was still quite chilly but since it was so hot it did not bother us.  Temps were around 60 ow my.  I was very proud of Dominic this year with him being safe in the water and watching out for his sister.  He also always makes friends and I am so proud of him. Since we bring a baby pool and make castles with tunnels.  The kids like to take their cars and play with us.

Neat the end of the day.  Madeline and Dominic thought it would be a fun idea to run circles with his sister around people.

After our second walk and collecting shells (Madeline liked rocks) we attempted to go in the water again. 


We purchased "CHICKENS" at nanas & bampas and had a BLAST.  Fun HOT summer time at Nanas and Bampas.  Never a dull moment with jumping in the water and having  fun with family

This year we ended up heading to Boston for the 4th of July.  We were very excited to join the Schalls, Nana and Bampa.  When we got there.  We embarked on the "Duck Tours". This was Dominic and Madeline's 1st time.  They were so excited to be with their cousins.  We went on the tour and the kids just blew their horns and relaxed.  They were even lucky to be choose to drive the boat when we went into the water. Dominic and Madeline were smiling ear to ear.

After the duck tourwe tried to take a nap and that was not successful with my kiddos.  So we ran around the hotel room, colored and played games.  Around 4 we went to grab dinner then heat to our spot on the common for fireworks. We had to get there by 5:30 even though nothing started till 7 PM. We played random games and just were very silly.

When we got to the common we held our ground with our chairs and blankets.  The kids entertained themselves with more food, music and tackling Bampa.  Around 7 PM the live music started and the fun began.  Alex is a very good dancer and Dominic is too but I feel there is a little competition with how crazy your can swing your hips.  There was even a family behind us that sneak in a baby kitten.  For a good 25 minutes Madeline was petting the kitten asking to bring it home.

This  year we have been attending the Summer Concerts at the Common and were having a blast.  Mommy packs picnic dinners for the family and we head out.  There is music, bubbles,food & ice cream truck.  Grandma likes to come with us and meet some of her friends from the Senior Center

We decided to cool off one HOT summer day and head to one of our 2nd favorite park and play in the water.  Twin Bridges Park was nice and shaded but there was NO ONE THERE.  We played tag, explored but after 45 minutes we needed to cool down.  We then hiked to the stream and played
