In early August we were struck by hard news. Our baby girl was sick. We noticed some slowing down of her high energy but she was almost 10 and though old age. We took her in for a check up and found out she had kidney issues. Both Mark and I were positive but knew it would be long hard journey. As much we tried, time was not on our side. The week was filled with hugs, kisses, walks, kids coming over and playing with her and soo much more.
Elenore was Mark and my 1st dog. I got her for Mark in CO. I remember him telling me about his dog Maggie and I really wanted to get him a dog like her. Ellie was a miniature schnauzer with blue heeler. She was the sweetest thing. Her and Mark had the best love and was his right hand. We took her to Denver hotels, I took her on hikes and she was the life of our gatherings. She loved everyone, played fetch for hours and just was so fun. The love and memories we made in CO we continue as we made our new home in NH. As we we grew our family from three to four Ellie learned how to "share her toys", be protective of the kids and let them know when there friends were coming over to play. She was also apart of every Ambrose holiday and Donnas birthday adventures. There are so many things that Ellie is special for but as we know its the memories made with the loved ones through the years our mind keeps locked up in a special place. Mark and I know that she's not replicable and we wished we had more years with her. She was our sweeties pie.
