SAD...........
In March we were hit with something that we did not realize how this would be a health issue that would leave us self quarantine till 2021 and on. We pull both kids out of school in March 2020 and kept distance from family even till now.
I schooled both kids till summer and thank goodness we have the pool at Nanas and Bampas. We kept away pretty much from kids in the neighborhood b.c we do not know where they have been or their parents.
The kids have been so great and we are so proud.
March - June are pictures and comments of how we were adopting. Lots of hiking, careful with family and learning to be safe.
Mark and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary but my surprise trip to KY for a bourbon tour, I canceled. We celebrated at home with kids and it was very sweet.
SUMMER TIME and we are ready but we are still keeping distance but had to keep moms birthday tradition of BEACH DAY. I researched and had to sign up for a spot. We went to Wallis Beach in Hampton. I have our car spot and beach spot. We woke early to get there and did our traditional DD donuts, milk and singing on our way. Heart melts.
I am 36 and as long as I can .... the beach is where you will find me on my birthday with my babies.
We love to walk to the other side of Wallis Sands and find the snails and other fishes. We literally spend over an hour exploring and capturing them to love and bring them to our "sea water" pool by our seats. We also find crabs and my kids through the years have gotten better at picking them up and learning about them. We took careful caution to keep away from others and make memories. We LOVE LOVE to boogie board too. The water was perfect and we were in it non stop.
This year for Nanas birthday we went north. We had a HUGE house for all of us. Food, swimming, exploring and lots of games. It was nice o spend QT with family.
There was a huge ballroom where we played games, watched movies, sang and danced

I wanted to head to the beach one last time but Hampton Beach was not in the cards. So we went farther north to a state park. We had to much fun. The water was warm, no one one there, we went on a few hikes, picnic lunch and played games on the beach too. Fall has come and we are keeping the kids home till we know more about COVID-19. It been a crazy time and we are very lucky that Mark and I are working from home. Every week I attend meetings with Dominics teacher and submit work per google school. It can be a lot to make sure that Dominic keeps on target. He has been doing great and learning a lot about classes on the computer
As we approach FALL we are outside finding new hiking trails.

Ellie goes 100% of the time with us

WaHoooooo its Halloween time. We are getting ready to pick apples with our family at Macs Apples. This year was super fun as we FINALLY get to see everyone, laugh, take pics and SMILE ear to ear.
This year we were able to get Dominic to clean out his own pumpkin.... WOW
This year we decided to dress up and do a scavenger hunt at home and visit just a few houses with our masks on. The kids has a BLAST and loved the scary music we played at we played b ball handing out candy.
I made up about 2 dozen goody bags and stashed them in areas around the house. The kids ran all around
Keeping up the fun and good times.

Thanksgiving 2020 was not the same without our family but we made do. As we know moms not the best cook but I made a meal for everyone since were not "turkey people". Madeline wanted steak tips, Dom wanted cheeseburger, Dad doesn't eat meat and I am simple. There was one thing this house did not go washout was deserts. Sadly as Madeline was helping me peel potatoes we did have a mishap and ended up cutting our finger so bad we had to go to Urgent care. She was a trooper. As they were in there Dominic and Mom were creative and played word games, I Spy and more. He was super great and supportive of his sister
