Disney for the Kids Birthdays !!

Mark and I were so excited to surprise the kids for their birthdays... turning 4 & 7.

We woke the kids early and on the way to the airport we forgot a few KEY things.... the stroller, bands and kids birth certificates.  WOW we were really over prepared. 

 

We flew from Manchester to BWI then to FL  The kids were great and as we landed in FL the flight attendant mentioned Disney but we were able to avoid that conversation. We picked up our luggage and took the bus to our Disney hotel.  As we were on the bus the kids still has no idea until we were poking.  Dominic FINALLY got it and it was priceless.

As we entered our hotel it was great,  We stayed in the animation hotel in the Mermaid suite but there was Cars, Lion King and Old School science. 

 

We planned it to get in around noon and hit up Magic Kingdom for a few hours. It was perfect. I took pictures BUT this vacation was for memories.  We have been through a lot and family time was needed.

It was a LONG great day and 4 more adventures

The 2nd day we went to EPCOT. This was full of car racing, Elsa & Anna, FOOD,  other fun animation sites and a little fun beverage for mom and dad. On there way there since we are staying on the ground we REALLY had fun riding he gondola. As we were there in Epcot when we saw Nemo ride Maddy made a appearance and it was sooo cute. We love CRUSH....

After a break I surprised the kids with T-Shirts for the next day adventures. WaHoooooRound 2 bac to Epcot....

Day 3 we went to Hollywood Studios and PREPPED with our shirts and STAR WARS BABY!!

Dom so excited. So this was a ride where we did have a fast pass. It was still about 1.5 hours but the waiting in line was just fine.  The aircraft, characters and star wars decoy was so realistc .. being in the aircraft was so awesome. Dominic loved every moment and just watching this and his enjoyment was so much fun. From sitting in the seats of where our characters layout attach plans, in the seat before we take off to fly a mission, AND then when we got captured by Storm Troopers.

They really made the ride enjoyable and you felt like you were about to head into a war fight. 

Outside after we rode a few rides we explored more of the planet JabuHuts planet was so

This ride was AMAZING... we SOARED in the air and felt like we were birds. 

After MANY Star Wars rides we were ready for Toy Story. SADLY the lines were longer then anticipated but they were really fun!

Toy Story was so much FUN BUT the line for Slinky was a great roller coaster but the line was soooo long.  The roller coaster was full of UPS.. DOWNS and fun screams. On the way there we HAD HAD HAD to stop and see the characters.  The army men, Woody, Jessie and more.  

FROZEN was so next on the list & we were able to watch song and dancing from our friends. 

ANIMAL KINGDOM was pretty cool. We loved the avatar life. We were able to design our faces, see Lion Kin and the animals, see real life Safari and soooo much more.

This ride I did not attend BUT i heard it was a ROARific time. Maddy and I rode dino roller costar, got lost in Dino world with sand and going back in time.

As the boys rode Madeline returned to the Dino Sand plot where there are over 15 slides, sand dunes forever and so much more. The 1st time we were here was when Madeline was ALMOST 3 and she was non stop. Still the same BUT she comes to check in.

Once lunch was over we returned to Epcot for round 2.  We rode Soarin' Around the World. You would "FLY" on  breezy airborne adventure as you hang glide above a breath taking wonders around the world.

     

                                

                                                   This was where we trained for MISSION INTO SPACE.  We were trained on the DO's and DONT's and then BLAST OFF.  When we were waiting  in line I was prepping Dominic about the motions of the ride. They have you "GO BACK IN TIME" finding the previous people who stayed at the hotel that were LOST FOREVER.

I took Dominic on "TOWER OF TERROR" which was a lot more fun then I remembered. He did a GREAT job and I cannot WAIT till Madeline can ride this. 

This was Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.  This was really neat because they showed old school animation movies and the kids have never seen this before.

Day WHAT.... more special princesses and love.

We had a blast as a family with long days filled with smiles, laugher, food, screams of joy, pool time and even pool time with dinner.  This was perfect before we now the unknown of COVID- 19/
