Thanksgiving in Florida... we were so thankful

This year we took a trip to FL and celebrated Thanksgiving in FL.  I distinctly remembering Donna mentioning when I have Maddy when a good time to head to Disney World.  This year they surprised the family and we were heading there for Thanksgiving.

This year on Tuesday, November 20th we headed out very early in the morning to see Minnie Mouse and Mickey.  We caught our flight wi Nana, Bampa, Brian and the Schall boys.  Nothing better then an early wale up with D and D.  We set off and it was Madeline's 1st flight and Dominic's since her was 2.  The kids loved the while experience and their ears did not bother them.

We got to FL, picked up our luggage and car then set sail to our new home for a week.  The house  was huge and the perk to the home was having a pool (heated) and jaquizie.

The first day we decided to head to Universal Studios.  This is where the Boys (even my hubby) was ready for Harry Potter.   We got into the park and the boys started with Transformers, Ants ride, headed to Simpsons, Dr.Seuse and so much more.

The family did the Ants ride and it was quite fun.  Thank goodness Madeline sat on Mommys lap near the end because after the squirting water the arms of the ants touched everyone's back.  Dom went to Transformers with the boys and they got to help bumble bee save the world. After that we found Harry Potter World.  We went into the slumbers of the secret train and 9 3/4 door.  When we arrived we were just enamored by the magic and mystery of the world.  Mark was to excited to wait we were on the look out for our 'wands' to create some sorcery magic.  We found our house and Mark got Dumledore, Dominic got  Harry Potty and Maddy got Hermione. From there we set upon Harry Potty World and open up the magic.  Its so exciting to see all the kids smiles and focus as they con quire.  After 10 minutes Bampa took all the kids aside and we bought the rightful attire of our schools..... THE CAPES.

The boys took off and Madeline were the ones who watched the special wands.  Boys played and we got A LOT OF SIGNATURES.  I was so excited to see how PUMPED Madeline was to see Captain America.  We 1st started in Marvel World and saw Wolverine, missed CA but were in cartoon world and meet Popeye and Olivorie .  From there we also went to Dr. Seuss Land.  The smiles and hugs we so priceless.  I loved Madlines smile as she walked up to each character yelling their name.
The next day was Thanksgiving.  We stayed home and playing in the pool, arcade and local park.  We had a blast and was so relaxing.  As we sat down we were so happy, non stressed and were 'happy to be with each other.

She really wanted to see Pluto and take an other pic.  It was so simple but took 45 mins.  Both her and Dom wanted one more and we it was perfect.

Friday we headed to MAGIC KINGDOM!!  I randomly found matching shirts for Dominic and  Madline.  It was 'Double Trouble" with Minnie and Mickey.  It was so perfect. When we 1st arrived we headed to the tree and took picks with Pluto.  Then we made our way down the memorable walk to the palace.  This is where we were able to see so many characters and show our love. We had fast passes but they were about 30+.

As we walked through the park we were so lucky to see Captain Sparo THEN jump to the spinning tea cups. The rest of the day was filled with meeting friends, smiles, lots of food and making memories.  Both Mark and I enjoyed watching and taking in the moments.  We both feel that its not as many pictures you take but the moments you take in is most rewarding.  I still take a crap load and fill their personal album but BLOG is a little short.

The next day we went to EPCOT. FROZEN and meeting more characters was just the start.  Ow BOY!! So there were  select fast passes and one was to see some characters. And when i say some I mean Elsa, Anna, Mickey Mouse and Minnie. I just loved the smiles and how and how Maddy wanted to jump right in.  Her smile and Hug..... even Dominic was very happy... as much as an almost 6 year old.

Both Mark and I were so taken back with the hugs they gave Mickey and Minnie at the end.  I was just so sincere and precious. As we were leaving the park (mind you Madline is just 2 she has been skipping naps).

The final day we ended up heading to Animal Kingdom.  I was so much fun.  We took over the Dinosaur exhibit, Ants, UP, singing dancing and so much more.

There was a area in the park where they were putting on dances. Madeline just gravitated and was non stop dancing.  She was singing and mom even part took in the fun.  The actors were so engaging. We also continued to seek out our friends and getting their autographs.  We were able to see our friends from UP and magical characters from Bambi (even though  we have not seen that movie).
We indulged a lot too with may great sweet snacks.  Madeline's was a donut of course but it was literally the size of her head.

Dom LOVED his ice cream and Maddy took a few spoonfuls because hes such a great big brother.
We LOVE dinosaurs in our home and we really had a blast playing with Pluto and digging for fossils.  Dominic was old enough to ride the roller coasters and bigger rides so Maddy & I went on a fossil journey. There were so many slides and they were pretty big. One slide was almost 3 stories high and there was no hesitation from Madeline. She also enjoyed chasing Pluto and going on a treasure hunt.

I was finally able to go on a BIG KID ride with Mr. Dominic.  We went on a dinosoure water ride.  Lots of splashing and OW NO as we decended into an other dinosour era.
The famous tree of LIFE.  This tree was so beautiful and we loved walking around the park and taking in all the engravings.  The smiles in the kids faces were so special
