Today Dominic is 2
months old and he is growing by leaps & bounds!!
He loves to learn everyday through
various ways. Dominic LOVES his trips to
the library and gets to see all his friends.
Every Thursday Dominic and I attend “Mommy and Me Read together”. It is 30 minute sessions where the kiddies
sing songs, listen to mommies read a book and at the end, we all play with
bubbles. Dominic does tend to zone in
and out with some shut eye but I know he is listening. When we do pick out our library books and
head home, we sit in our rocking chair and I read while he just takes it all in.
Since
introducing the pacifier and continuing to really focusing on our belly and
back play time, Dominic has gotten much stronger and is learning about what his
arms can really do. I have noticed when
the pacifier leaves his mouth he uses his forearm to help put it back in and it
is such an amazing thing to watch. When
we do play, he talks baby talk …(aka happy screams)… he has defiantly gotten
louder and he even jumps at times at his noises. He also on occasion has giggled and laughed
with smiles that were not caused by
gas.
Since
Marks mom will be helping us out and watching Dominic, we have introduced “the
bottle” and he is a drinking champ. Unfortunately,
the bottle has led to a lot more burping!
On one of his burping sessions Dominic had an explosive burp which
spewed milk all down daddy’s back.
