Dominic's Field Trip - Apple Orchard

Early September Mommy was lucky to chaperon Dominic with his classmates to an apple orchard.  We were so excited to spend some quality time together and pick apples and even a pumpkin.  Dominic was excited to introduce some new friends he has made and just have fun. 

When we first go to the farm.  There was an outdoor park filled with jungle gym, tractors, a farmhouse, huge rocks and so much more. The first thing Dominic did as we were waiting was jumping off the HUGE rock.  Then when Joey and Owen arrived it was non stop running around and showing off. 

 

After about 30 minutes it was time to load onto the tractor and head over to the apple orchards.  Dominic loves applesauce and wanted to make that from his apples he gathers.  When we got on the tractor the kids were nonstop giggles and excitement.  When we got off the tractor the tour guide chatted with the kids on the different types of apples and their seeds, what does each kid like to do with their apples.  When it was time Dominic sprinted down the vineyard with his friends finding the BEST apples.  Once we choose our 6 apples we were delighted to even choose a pumpkin to bring home.  After the tour and lunch, the kids were able to head
back to the park and play. 

When the day was over.  I asked Dominic what his favorite part of the field trip was.  He told me to have his mom come and play.  It melts my heart because I swore it would have been jumping off the rocks.
