Getting ready for BIG CHANGES

As we have Spring coming to an end and Summer is approaching.  Madeline will be leaving World Academy and transition to a new school in Londonderry.  We feel that at this point her education she should she be in a class that she will make friends with and graduate from school to school.  It was a harder transition I feel for me then her even though still to this day she asks about her friend at World Academy.
As we left WA she enjoyed all the friends she has made and teachers she enjoys seeing everyday.

A few weeks prior to leaving WA I was lucky to see many of the different projects she has been working on.  Learning about colors, shapes, sounds and working on our writing skills has been so exciting.  She is not a girly girl BUT love her dinosaurs, cars and trains.  Seeing how she interprets what Dinosaurs should look, sound is fun.  They also would read a story and create art projects that interpreted what the next part of their story is, is amazing.

Her new school, World of Discovery she was very excited and I feel that it is also due to maturity.  She picked out her own outfit for the 1st day and was ready to make new friends.  Nervouse about her teacher but that is understanable.

As we parked and went into her school she was excited to see her new classroom and HUGE playground.  She walked with me to her room and placed her backpack on her hook found her new cubbie and then we walked outside where all the kids were swinging on the swings and playing with trucks.

As Madeline finished her time at World Academy.  Dominic was graduating Kindergarten at Moose Hill.  I have been so happy to see all the new things Dominic has been learning at his school, friends that have been made and his self confidence.

Now its Dominic's turn to close out the year at Moose Hill an get ready for First Grade!  I cannot believe how big he has gotten from the 1st day to the last.  Not only has he made so many new friends.  What he has learned to prepare him for reading and math has been so exciting to watch.  From learning site words, how to rhyme, sound out new words and attempt to learn how to add.

One afternoon daddy surprised the kids to the park & ice cream.  These extra moments are so special!

Kindergarten graduation is finally here. I cannot believe Dominic is entering grade school nest year.  I know we are both so proud of everything Dominic has learned and the new school with new friends has been very exciting new challenge.  There was never a day that went by where he came home sad.  In Londonderry there is AM or PM Kindergarten.  Dominic attended AM and was able to take the bus from home every morning with his neighborhood friends.  This was also nice because Dominic was able to hang our with dad even more.

After we were ending the month of June.  The kids and I were getting excited up like we do every summer for the BEACH!!  The 1st trip we know to bring our sweatshirts for the AM then it gets warmer.  This year we were up and out the door very early,  There is nothing like being the 1st ones there and getting the best spot.  We have to keep in mind when 'high' tide comes in and work the system.

We pick our spot and today we decided to venture off and look for critters.  We found so many snails and minos in the morning.  We took our bucket and filled it every few hours with our new found friends.

Then we blew up our pool and started to create our castle community with crazy moat and so much more. This year Dominic decided to bury his little sister and make her a mermaid.

Am i REALLY THREE..... ow yes i AM MOMMY

Madeline turned 3 on January 20th.  The celebration started on January 18th.  We brought fun cupcakes to all her classmates and teachers.  This year Madeline could not decide on Moana OR Frozen.  So we proceeded with both  characters. We were excited to share this fun time with her friends.  I was told everyone had a blast.

On Saturday morning Madeline woke ready to start the fun at BoBos.  It was very long 5 hours of letting her know that we have to wait but she was just so excited.  That morning was her brothers 1st winter soccer practice.  So as the boys went to play.  We stayed back playing with our baby dolls and connect 4. BUT 1st we were asked to make special pancakes for breakfast.

When 11:40am came we packed the care and were embarking on this little girls festivities that she was waiting so patiently for.  When we arrived we brought in all the decorations, special balloons and care...YUM YUM.

At 12:30, Madeline's friends started to arrive.  Madeline would greet everyone and then run off back to the jumping slide. We had 14 kiddos come and celebrate and it was so much fun.  Madeline was non stop running around from the slides, to the bouncy house, climbing wall and the big blow up slide.  I was kinda surprised that she wanted to tag along the whole party.  I squeezed  away at times to talk with the parents and get to know everyone.

All of the kids found the blow up the slide the BEST. All the kids would walk up the stairs and then just explode down with no thought of collinding at the bottom.  It was crazy fun and ONLY a few tears here and there.  Madeline's favorite male friend is Oliver. They are inseparable and just play off on each other.  Madeline's girlfriends well she loves everyone. She talks about Snigdha, Mackenzie and Charlotte.  We were really lucky to also have great friends of our bring their kiddos who are around Madeline's age. We had Dillon, Theodore and Claire.  Charlie was not able to make it but we sent him a " i miss you card".  The first hour I knew the kids would be running around and having a great time playing with each other. One of my favorite moments was when we were finally able to get Oliver down the big green slide.  He was very scared but then after Madeline patted him on the back and gave him sweet words ( and his dad was their coaxing him on) he did it and was so happy.  Later when Dillon arrived he had no fear but Madeline thought it would be fun to scare him.  Dillons face expression was priceless. And all the kids had a blast going between the big slide and the bouncy house.  All of the kids on the slide did not hesitate and they were going down backwards, on their bellies, side ways and other crazy ways.  At one point there were 7 kids coming down and it was a nice pile up at the bottom. Laughter was continuously heard from all over. Inside the bouncy house were punching bags.  Madeline and her friend Amelia had a blast punchito and throwing uppercuts with mom. This time Madeline and a few of her friends really took to the climbing wall.  Mckenzie, Cayleigh and  Oliver.

After an hour we breaked for pizza and birthday cake.  I was so excited to see Madeline sitting with all her friends and light up when we started to sing happy birthday.  When we all sang happy birthday Madeline did a great job blowing our her candles and then she got really shy all the sudden and hid behind mommy.

When the pieces of cake were cut.  Madeline got the biggest slice for it had the most icing and she devoured it.

Later after the party we went home and played with presents and QT with the family.

Madeline these past several months has done so great at World Academy on her own.  There is not a time that goes by that a teacher does not yell for Madeline to come say hi or ask for a hug.  She LOVES to sing as we know, dance and play baby dolls.  Many morning Madeline likes to sing a song with mommy and dance.  When I picker her up she loves to tell me about her day and all they things they did in class. Where its learning about a new animal, a cool book or a game she played with on the playground with her friends.

My little one LOVES when I come home in any condition
