Since Dominic has turned 2 years old. We have been hunkered down from winter storm after winter storm. We have had a lot of indoor playtime and been keeping busy with arts and crafts while using our creative imaginations.

The first snow fall we had was over a foot and we were able to get out and play. Dominic was enjoying the snow with Mommy, Daddy and Ellie. We made snow angels, went sledding and made snow balls which we attempted to throw at Daddy.

Mommy and Dominic took a field trip to the Manchester Aviation Museum and he had a blast. When we arrived, we were right at the runway where planes take off and land. We sat in the car for about 20 minutes watching planes. While we were watching, Dominic would scream....."plane plane voom go up" or "OW WOW Mommy look plane". When we finally entered the museum. We were the only visitors and Dominic ran around and had a blast. We looked at all the old planes they found in NH, bi-planes, space crafts and airplanes. The tour guide was very nice and she took the time to build lego planes and let Dominic put on a fighter jacket.

Some of the fun crafts mommy and Dominic have been busy with is baking A LOT, painting magnets, window sun catchers, ball games and other crafts for our cars and bussesssss. When we do arts and crafts I notice Dominic takes his times and loves to have mommy do as he does. A few months ago I got a free easel with a chalk board and dry earse board. At the end of our school day he likes to draw. His favorite things to draw are planes, garbage trucks and houses. And we go over our shapes as we draw the house, bus and car.

Here are some of the new things that Dominic is doing and saying:
- "I hold you" (which means hold me)
- He takes mommy or daddys hand to play as a family
- He throws Ellie the ball from the tub
- He says sentences now with 4 plus words together (that we can understand)
- He still puts his jacket and shoes away when we ask
- He can jump really high and loves to show this off when he's in his "dance party mode"
- He plays hide and go seek (especially underneath the kitchen table)
- He informs us when things are "far away or near"
- Knows all his body parts and even where his chinney-chin-chin, elbow, eyelashes and knees are
Dominic FINALLY had his 2 year check up and he was into everything including books, stools and docs stethoscope. He is 29.8 lbs (50% percentile) and 33 1/2" tall (25% percentile). Sadly, he has another ear infection. If this one does not go away we may need to put in tubes. Hopefully it clears up though.
