Dominic and Mommy have started back with Story Time and now
they include a puppet show for the older kids.
Dominic is still a little curious so he sits and listens to the teacher
for a few minutes then wonders off to do his own thing. We TRY to sit for one story then they have
the kids stand and sing a song but it’s a work in progress for Dominic. When we sing songs, they always include some
type of toy whether it is a musical instrument, beanie baby or balls. No matter
what the toy is, it ends up in Dominic’s mouth.
it’s not his toy so we need to play nice and CLEAN.
After 2 books have been read and a few songs have been song,
its puppet shows time and no matter where Dominic is. As soon as the song comes on and puppets
start to sing, he starts to crawl towards the stage.
In the library there is a
play area with toys, books and bean bags. Dominic's favorite thing to play with or shall I say “ride in”, is the
car.
They also have FISHIES and he LOVES to watch them swim
around while he talks to them.
This past weekend Mommy was trying to think of toys that
Dominic could use to HELP him walk or get him moving. One new toy she picked up is what she calls
the “popper”. It can be pushed around
like a vacuum. When Ellie saw this new
toys she went CRAZY and saw the little balls inside bouncing around and she
wanted them but could not get them.

Since Dominic has started his adventure of crawling he loves
to chase Abraham and Pepper. Abraham
tends to be more protective of his boundaries and Dominic has been struggling
with that until lately. Recently Abraham
has been VERY nice and loving to his little friend.
Little Boy Dominic is NOT to little… he is now 14 months old
and oh how so proud Mommy & Daddy are of him.
These shoes were made for WALKING and that is what we hope he
does. Dominic got new shoes with Nana
and they are so cool looking. He loves
to wear them and mommy thought he would not be able to take them off until
today. Mommy and Dominic were running at
the gym and I guess Dominic felt really determined to take them off, next thing
you know one flies off his foot and over the side of the BOB.
