I am 9 months !

My little boy is 9 Months!  Cannot believe these past 9 months have flown by just as they did when he was in my belly.

During our 9 month pictures Dominic was gabbing and then was trying to pull him-self up in his bed which is a first.  o all he wants to do when we play downstairs is pull him-self up on the couch and his toy chest.  He has started to become a little Hercules.  Since Dominic has 2 bottom teeth we were given the Go A Head to start brushing.  Surprisingly, Dominic actually does not mind it.

At his checkup he was 28” long and 18.8 lbs. ow BOY.  He even stood up for his favorite doctor and gave a “Look at me and my BELLY” shot.  Since Dominic was still getting over his cold we held off on his flu shot for another week or so.

The 1st week of October we were delighted to have Poppy come and visit for about a week.  This trip included a TON of play time, walks at Mines Falls and hugs.

Dominic loves to play with all his toys, standing up on his own just to scream like a little girl AND crawling backwards.  We have been working on the army crawl and getting his legs going but all he does is laugh at momma.  As he plays, he just talks and talks to the lights and animals around him.  He says the cutest babbling phrases and then just starts to laugh.  I cannot wait for the day that he really starts to talk so we can really babble to our pretend friends.

Time to Play

Our little baby boy is 7 months and how time flies in the Ambrose Household.  It was so fun to take these pictures because he was sitting up all by himself and just giggling away.

Mommy & Daddy giving Dominic’s first hair cut but Mom wanted to keep a little shag look

Dominic has had a crazy month as he started Day Care September 9th    at Humpty Dumpty Day Care.  For his first week he did really well and he was making friends and flirting with the teachers.  He did cry a little BUT it never lasted long.  Eventually he would turn to his teacher and signal wanted to be cuddled. With those baby blue eyes and chubby cheeks who would deny cuddle time.

I have asked the teachers to keep a log of Dominic’s weeks and all that he does. The one thing that he loves to do is play on the floor with others or simply watch them play.  The teachers did note that he tries to replicate their actions.  He sure is learning a lot.

Dominic also has a little cubby and crib with his name on it.  It’s so cute to watch my little baby boy growing so fast.  Unfortunately Dominic came down with his first real cold and we’re still fighting it 2 weeks later.  He was all bundled up for a fun 5K run with mommy and daddy and then small little cough turned into a temperature of 102.5.  We went straight to the doctor.  Over time, and with plenty of Tylenol, the temperature went away and our happy baby returned.

We also have been making Dominic’s food. He LOVES All his fruits but only SOME veggies.  Mommy also choose a few new snacks like MUM MUMs and Puff Puffs, and he really taking to eating and grabbing across the table to reach for every- last PUFF PUFF.
