Wheels are on and ready for .....

After a few weeks of house work we had our 1st annual Ambrose cook out at the new casa.  Unfortunately, it was a little chilly but Dominic wanted to say “HI” and be a part of the festivities.  When the sun was out and Dominic was not bundled up, he defiantly was a ladies man.  Later that night, Nana and Bampa were sweet enough to take Dominic for his 1st sleep over without Mom & Dad and he did WONDERFUL.  Slept in his crib, ate like a champ and hung out with his cousins too.  Could have not asked for a better 1st sleep over I would say.

These past several weeks, Nana has been helping with an eating and sleeping schedule for Dominic and he is really taking to it.  The week of May 24th, was the first week Dominic slept through the night without any crying.  He would eat around 8 or 9pm and then sleep till about 4 or 5 am and I was one happy momma.

We have also been working on belly time and sitting up in his Bumbo in the evenings.  Dominic choose 2 books and we read one on his belly and the other when he is sitting up in his Bumbo.  It took about a week before we got through a book without any cries but he is doing really well keeping his head up and turning his body when daddy comes in the room.  Soon we hope he can sit up all by himself in the stroller and no more car seat which weighs a ton at this point since he was 15.8 at his 4 month checkup.

Last week in May, NH had temperatures that were in the upper 80’s to 90’s so it was POOL TIME.  We went over to Nana and Bampa’s to visit the family, grill out and have Dominic take his 1st swim.  He liked the water and did really well until the water got up to his nipples.  At that point he was a little cold and he put on his sad face.
