Friday May 3rd was
Dominic’s 4 month checkup and BOY has he grown so much. His Doctor has informed
us that Dominic is 15.8lbs and 25 ¾” long.
He was all smiles and so happy until he received his shots. Once he received his shots he wailed so loud
I had to pick him up and sing. Yes I said
sing. Nana has found that whenever Dominic
gets fussy that singing the Beatles (his favorite) calms him right down. Also, during his visit with Dr. Dobins, she
noticed that he LOVES his ladies because he would keep trying to grab her
fingers and when he hooked one, he would not let go.
Even though Dominic is 4 months
old, he is really getting some movement in his legs and I feel we will have a
crawler by 6-7 months. At Nana’s he love
his keyboard play mat where he kicks and kicks and kicks to hear the keys make
music. He gets so excited, he starts to
shake and move. One day he was so
energized he did a 360 within 15 minutes.
Earlier this month we were able to
get all the cousins together and attend Dominic’s 1st Manchester Monarchs
baseball game, it was so much fun. They all
watched the game and even received a surprise visit from the mascot Mr. Monarch
himself.
On May 4th, the family
headed into Boston for “Miles for Hope-Brain Tumors” 5k. This was our 2nd year entering this race and we
received wonderful support from friends and family. We were able to raise over $1600 for this
great cause. It was such a wonderful event
to have the family together and just a beautiful reminder how blessed we are to
have Dominic in our lives. Our team was
made up of 10 and a baby.
